SneekStMartinusKerkTitle: Sneek, St. Martinus Kerk Caption: Sneek [prov. of Friesland] Sint Martinus Kerk in the center of the town of Sneek. One of the creations of the famous Dutch architect P.J.H. Cuypers(1827-1921). Most catholics in Sneek didn't like the church and it almost would have been demolished in 1940. Thanks to the Germans ironically the church was saved. In 1992 it even became a protected Monument.
